In the past month, we’ve had three cracking guest articles:
Outside of my Comfort Zone by Clare Carey
The Mask by Courtney Bright
Living in the Trenches of Depression by an anonymous writer
Each story emphasises the importance of facing challenges, seeking help, and taking control of your life.
What advice would you give to someone who's currently facing a difficult life change or struggling with mental health?
Honesty - acknowledging there's a problem. Courage - facing the problem and taking steps to manage it. Reality - knowing that the path can be long and difficult, and improvements can be incremental
1. Let them know it’s ok to be doing it tough
2. Go for a walk together
3. Share a time I was doing it tough
-Set yourself some goals.
-Keep busy.
-Don’t dwell on things.
-Walk and talk.
