OUR STORY

OUR GOAL

OUR RUNS (AND WALKS)

MONDAY AT 6:15AM

WEDNESDAY AT 6:00PM

FRIDAY AT 6:0015AM

First things first, you don't have to run. Everyone and all fitness levels are welcome at any of our runs, and we have plenty of walkers, kids, and dogs. All you have to do is rock up!  Secondly, we're on no matter what. Rain, hail, shine... it doesn't matter. You can be sure that there will always be someone waiting for you at one of our Runs. Thirdly, we're not that serious. Whilst we have a meaningful backstory and a significant goal, it's no secret that exercising with your mates is just a great thing to do. Lastly, All our runs are at the best pub in Canberra, The Dock on the Kingston Foreshore.

OUR COMMUNITY

Every time we get together, we’re telling the world that this many people support our goal of saving lives from suicide. We’re also telling the world that we believe in resilience, that we believe everyone has been through something tough, and that despite how together people might seem, so many of us have something going on in the background. More importantly, we might be telling one person that there’s a community that believes they’re in pain, but that we also believe things will get better.

If you’re a newcomer and would like to become more involved, please send us an email at run4resilience@gmail.com, and we’ll shoot you through the link to the WhatsApp group, no questions asked.

SUPPORT OUR CAUSE

Since beginning in 2019, we haven't accepted a single donation because we believe that effort underpins a mentally healthy society. We've relied on people donating their time and their efforts to make R4R what it is today, and until otherwise, this will continue. So please, if you want to support our cause you can do one of the following:

Attend our runs
6:15am on Monday
6:00pm on Wednesday
6:15am on Friday

Create your own Merchandise!
Because we’re not a charity or business, we’ve made it easy for you to create your own merchandise. Whether you’re a business or an individual, simply click on the link below to our website and follow the instructions to create merchandise for yourself, your team, or if you’re feeling generous, you can create a bulk order to give out to our runners for free!
