We want 2025 to be the year of the story.
We believe that sharing stories helps people comprehend their struggle, offering them a blueprint to understand and overcome whatever they’re facing. If you have a story to tell, please email hello@runningforresilience.com
Before we get started…
Thanks to R4R Legend Timmy Fulton and
, we’ve got a new and improved website… If you’re after any information on regular or new events, head over there to check it out!And in case you missed it…
Needless to say, Lili showed why she’s a leader in our community. Her honesty, vulnerability, and her clarity of thought shine through in this conversation. Make sure you give it a listen!
Why storytelling matters
Running for Resilience started with me sharing my story. R4R as we know it started when I saw Benny A share his… and now… our community has become something more than we ever imagined, by more and more people sharing theirs.
Half of the struggle with mental health is that we don’t know what’s wrong with us… but when we hear that others have been through something similar, and that they’ve come out the other side stronger for it… we don’t feel alone anymore.
We see a blueprint for enduring, for finding a way forward no matter what, and we find a sense of belief… that over time… is validated by our own resilience and other people’s stories…
That we’re stronger together, and that we aren’t what happens to us, we are how we respond.
Well done Timbo!
