The Rag is our community’s microphone…
Stories from within R4R are shared loud and proud, and we believe these perspectives are adding to our understanding of mental health and what’s required for a suicide-free Canberra.
If you’ve got a story or perspective to share, contact us at hello@runningforresilience.com
Before we get started…
Keep up to date with all that’s happening at R4R. From our regular runs and walks, to our special events, and other community events outside of R4R… we want to give people the opportunity to engage with community.
And in case you missed it…
Episode 3 was a cracker and Episode 4 is being released on Friday. Check out our YouTube channel above and our Spotify channel here… and make sure to subscribe so you know when a new episode is out!
What we want from our Podcast
We want the R4R Podcast to champion our community. We want to shine a light on the resilience of our peers, showing that struggle is normal, and overcoming struggle is possible…
We’re after depth of connection. More than a hundred people messaged Lili privately, following her podcast. Multiple people reached out randomly to check in on their mates, following Rich’s.
This type of engagement is what we’re after. Podcast guests from our community are becoming leaders for our cause, and they’re shifting conversations and behaviours by sharing their stories in this way.
A suicide-free Canberra will take cultural change, and that needs countless leaders talking the talk, and walking the walk, toward a common goal. A suicide-free Canberra is possible… and we think this podcast is a big piece of the puzzle.
