R4R does the City2Surf take 2

Huge thanks to everyone who came on our second road trip to the City2Surf yesterday!

It was such an epic weekend and one I’ll never forget.

Some highlights:

• Carb-loading the night before while watching the Matilda’s epic quarter-final!

Carbs + a Matilda’s win! How good.

Ready to go at Central Station

• Shooter’s strange pre-race choice: An Iced-Latte. WTF?!

• Helen and Lara setting off early with the Wonder Women, raising money for Brain Cancer.

• Andrew’s Ponsonby nearly cracking the 50-minute mark and everyone who ran PBs!

• Mel flexing at the beach wondering where everyone is because she beat us all!

• Some of us getting to hear some exciting news down at the beach!

• The walk from Bondi to Tamarama.

• Everyone getting their recovery game on at Recoverie, with

  Brent Ford
  doing an impressive 30 mins in the ice bath!

Beer + Recovery… everything you need and nothing you don’t!

• Realising the bus had no toilet paper just as we left Sydney!

• Lunch and drinks at the beautiful Berrima Vault House.

• Free shots of Tequila from the manager!

• Karaoke and the sing-along on the bus home.

• Getting everyone home in one piece!
