What a day!

R4R at the City2Surf

Yesterday’s road trip to Sydney for the City2Surf was a lot of fun and the first of many R4R road trips!

Despite the 3am start and Sutton Forrest Macca’s being closed 😱, we still had heaps of runners crack the 1hr mark for hilly the 14-km course, with Andrew Ponsonby nearly cracking the 50 min mark!

Special mentions to Kirky for looking after Richard (the bussie) while we ran, plus grabbing a table at Beach Rd. And to young EJ who went out all Saturday night and still ran despite getting just 20 minutes sleep!

Throw in a little bus accident and a change of venues, the day was still such a success that we’re already planning to do it again next year.
