This week we get to meet Claire, who’s always there for a chat at least 40 minutes before the run and thanks to Paulie, she’s recently become a Raiders fan! She’s a lovely soul and I always enjoy chatting to her each week, so without further ado, let’s meet Claire!

The United Kingdom, I came to Canberra in 1994.
What’s your favourite thing about Canberra?
The markets and access to the community.
We hear you’re a bit of an artist… can you share a bit about that?
I have started teaching rock art to people of different abilities
How did you hear about R4R and when did you first attend?
I heard about R4R from my Occupational Therapist, and I started in March 2023.
What’s your favourite thing about R4R?
Connecting with friends and meeting new people.

Are you planning on taking part in any races or events soon or are there any just gone?
Yes, the 40km run for Autism in October 2023. I plan on walking 2km a day to meet this goal.
Doing the Canberra Times fun run in November with my Occupational therapist and a group of people of all abilities
